Our coffee shop is situated in historic Shodfriars Hall, and our staff will be delighted to talk to you about the project and the building. Should you want more information, or to book a tour, please ask one of the coffee shop staff who will be happy to help.
We are dog friendly.
We're working to secure funding from a range of sources to restore and rejuvenate the magnificent and historic Shodfriars Hall.
Our aim is transform the whole building into facilities for the people of Boston. Ideas include a large capacity performance, exhibition and function space,
meeting and eating spaces, and other recreational spaces available for local people to use and enjoy.
We also hope to become a key attraction in Boston's ever more vibrant 'Cultural Quarter', working with our partners in the area to develop a rich and attractive destination for visitors to the town.
In this way we intend to secure the future of Shodfriars Hall and other historic buildings within the cultural quarter for generations to come.
A large 'Tudor Style' building facing Customs House Quay in Boston's Cultural Quarter.
Parts of the building, notably the massive timber structure at the front of the building, dates back to the 1300's.
The building as one sees it today, is the result of a face lift carried out in the 1870's, during which an impressive Gothic style 'Great Hall' was constructed at the rear of the building. The building is breath taking, and certainly one of the most easily recognised building in town after the Stump.
